Welcome to Gotherington Village Hall! The orignal Reading Room was founded in 1905 and we have been providing a space for community activities for over 120 years. We're located in the heart of Gotherington, next to the Freeman Field and playpark. On this site you can find out about activities that are going on at the hall, as well as finding out about how to hire the hall for yourself!

Charity No. 274869
Gotherington Village Hall is run by the Trustees of the charity and relies on volunteers to ensure that the hall is fit for purpose and can be enjoyed by everyone.
We're run by the Village Hall Committee, a registered charity, and our aim is to provide facilities for social, recreational and educational use for the people of Gotherington and the surrounding neighbourhood.
We are always looking for people to volunteer and get involved! We have a number of elected members, and representatives from our user groups. We meet every 2 months to discuss the running of the hall.
There are currently six Trustees who are registered with the Charity Commission under Ref 274869
